I didn't know much about Billy Graham, except for things I've heard over the past few years, but what does appear to stand out, is that he lived his life pleasing God(not men) and didn't compromise on the true gospel. A truly great example in a landscape of hypocrisy.

The past few days I've been praying for boldness to talk with a friend of mine about the Gospel. Verse 10 was a really good reminder for me to have that talk and push aside my fears of what she may think.

The first thing that spoke to me is how these believers were so soon removed from the grace of God. I need to remember that no good thing dwells in my flesh. No one is beyond moving from Grace thinking to works thinking. I must walk as disconnected from my pride as possible so that I never try to replace his amazing, precious Grace with works of my own Flesh...

I'm advised in Peter 4:16 to Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. To stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you. These passages confirm the times that we live in. And come with a warning. In my expecting, excitement for His return I must make sure I meditate on these Truths and pray Holy Spirit will remind me daily.
