Sometimes the “He that troubleth you” is my self! My own wrong thinking keeps me in bondage to the law. I need to remember that I am FREE in Christ, and that my hope of righteousness (vs. 5) comes from faith in His finished work. I must not and can not relate to him based on how well I think I’m doing that particular moment. That is bondage. The whole point, the reason Jesus came was to free us and make a way for us.....for me (that is hard to say sometimes) to come to Him freely.
