Book a Month Bible Reading Plan

Welcome to our Life Application Discussion area! Please share how you applied today's verses to your life so that others can be encouraged and challenged as we read God's Word together.
Here are a few suggestions for things that are most helpful:
  1. Was there a command to obey that grabbed your attention? How do you intend to obey it today?
  2. Did an aspect of God's character stick out to you? How did you respond to seeing this about God?
  3. Did you find a warning you need to listen to? How can you listen to that warning today?
  4. Is there a promise you were reminded to hold on to? How will you stand on that promise today?
  5. Were you encouraged to do something for the Lord or others? What was it?
Please be aware that inflammatory comments or theological debates will be deleted. This discussion is for personal life application.

Going into a work situation for which nothing will suffice but the wisdom of God! I am so thankful that he will give it liberally And for his glory because he is so good!

I had some trials over the last few weeks and I was definitely not "counting it all joy". I just wanted the situations to get better, and was not thinking about how God might be using them to make me more mature. I'm going to change my approach after reading this. I don't want to be lacking.

“If any of you...”. Reminded today to not just teach my children what’s right and wrong, but also teach them to ask God for wisdom. Also, they’ll learn this best if they hear me asking for wisdom when we’re praying together.
