Would you like to be part of a church wide effort to help make Moms feel special this coming Mothers Day? (Hint: The correct answer is yes.) Whatever your family tradition is to honor the moms in your life, here at CCO we want to ask help from the Dad's and their kids to help us honor the women in our church family.

We are going to try to do something similar to Resurrection Sunday but without the singing. instead we're going to record special messages for our Moms, Grandmas, Greats, Great Greats...  Something you love about them. Something they are really great at. Maybe a time they were there for you when you got hurt or discouraged. Maybe they introduced you to Jesus. Maybe they failed at a lot of things but you always knew they loved you and they were trying. Or if you can't choose you can always say thanks for giving birth to you.

So (at least from the waist up) get dressed up for Mother's Day (or do it quarantine style if you must)
Grab your phone. Grab the kids.
And record some special messages to remind them they're special.


How do I do it?
  1. Make sure you're in a place where we can hear you loud and clear.
  2. Hold your phone / camera horizontally
  3. Record as individuals or groups, up to you.
  4. End each video shouting the phrase "HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY"
  5. Keep the whole video under 15 seconds long

​We'll air a compilation of these videos on Sunday May 10th. (If you want to submit longer videos you can. An excerpt will go in the compilation and whole videos will be shown after the services.
