Children's Easter Songs 2020
Lyrics and Audio

Letter to our Calvary Kids Parents

Greetings Calvary Kids parents. Every year we are blessed by our children coming and sharing praise songs with us at the end of the Resurrection Sunday services. This has been a special tradition since our fellowship started meeting many years ago. However this year we can't meet in person so things are a little different. We would still like to try to give our children the opportunity to share their songs and to do that we need your help.

What you need is:
  • a relatively quiet space
  • a way for them to read their lyrics
  • a device to play their song in their ears (headphones or earbuds)
  • any video device to record them singing (phone/webcam/etc)
  • a good place to set the recording device (5 min is a looong time to hold it steady)

Once your child ready, record them singing their song. (One at a time is best for audio but together with siblings is alright.).

Then click the button below to upload your video(s) to a private dropbox link.  Or email  justin@ccorl.com for any help.
Send your video
The plan is to then compile all of them singing together (similar to this sample) and play them during the Resurrection Sunday services next week. In order to be sure your children are included we need all of their videos by (revised) Saturday April 11th @11am.
*For any with privacy concerns, this video will not be downloadable, will contain no names, and we can blur faces on request.
The (slightly) more technical details.
Video
The sample video was shot with 1080p 30fps on an iPhone 6s with no special microphones. It could have also been shot in 720p. 4k works but the file is much bigger and it's unnecessary but if that's what you can record do it. We can adapt all of them.
Don't stress about that as much.

It's more important to make sure their face is centered with some space around it (not too near, not too far) And that the audio is clear. Not too loud not too soft.

If you're unsure about something specific just email justin@ccorl.com and he can answer any question you have.
Lyrics and Audio
Pre-K & K-1st  -  My Resurrected King
(Andrew Harper)

Thank You Jesus
I have life

You took my darkness
And made me right

Up from the grave
He is alive
My heart is saved
Jesus is mine
When I am weak
This name I'll sing
Jesus my resurrected King
Jesus my resurrected King

2nd-5th  -  Christ Is Risen
(Phil Wickham)

(Verse 1)
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
For I once was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see

(Pre-Chorus)
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave

(Verse 2)
The prodigal is welcomed home
The sinner now a saint
For the God who died came back to life
And everything is changed

(Pre-Chorus)
(Bridge)
Oh death, where is your sting?
Oh fear, where is your power?
For the mighty King of kings has disarmed you
Delivered and redeemed
Eternal life resounds
Oh praise His name forever

(Pre-Chorus)
(Chorus)

And all throughout eternity
Our song will be the same
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave

(Verse 3)
And on the day You call me in
To Heaven's sweet embrace
I'll see Your scars, Your open arms
And the beauty of Your face
Through tears of joy, I'll lift my voice
In everlasting praise
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave

(Bridge)
(Pre-Chorus)
(Chorus)
(Chorus)

(Verse 3)
